Dentures are a prosthetic to replace missing teeth. Although they are not as good as real teeth, they can help improve esthetics and eating. Full dentures replace all the missing teeth in the mouth and are supported by the gums and/or implants. Partial dentures replace one to several missing teeth and are supported by the adjacent teeth. Partial dentures can be made of acrylic or a combination of metal and acrylic.
