Happy Halloween! It is the time of year to dress up, act silly, trick-or-treat and be safe (you can find safety tips here). If your family is anything like mine then you will have an abundance of candy after your night of trick-or-treating. This is the perfect opportunity to remind your kids about “sugar bugs” and to eat their candy in moderation. It is better to eat a few pieces of candy at one time versus eating a few pieces of candy over an hour. And remember to do a thorough job of brushing your teeth for two minutes and flossing after eating your candy to avoid costly trips to the dentist. If you find that you have too much candy and do not know what to do with all of it, you can find some tips right here. Stay safe and have fun!
