There was a recent news clip in the American Dental Association’s morning huddle that discussed dentists taking blood pressure at each visit to help identify hypertension and get patients to their MD if indicated. This is a great idea and one that Southbridge has been doing for over 10 years. Most people know that hypertension can have big impacts on your overall health but not everyone is aware that high blood pressure can cause problems when visiting the dentist.
