In August of 2015 the benefits of flossing came under scrutiny. Here at Cherry Creek Family Dentistry we believe daily flossing is a critical step in successful long term oral health. Not only does it prevent tooth decay but it helps prevent periodontal disease (bone and gum disease) which has been linked to health issues such as diabetes and heart disease. We stand with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Periodontology in support of daily flossing. So, if you have questions on why you need to floss or how to floss just ask, we would be happy to answer them. And here is a quick example videos of the proper way to floss.
